This story appeared in a Dutch magazine. It is about the BMW507 Elvis had during his stay in Germany. The story mentions it is still not clear if the car was leased, or bought by Elvis.
The BMW we know with Elvis in the picture is white, but because fans used lipstick to write on the car, Elvis had it painted red later.
The car disappeared for a while as the story goes, but an American collector got hold of it, and is planning to restore it. Some of you here will not be able to read the article, but I hope you will enjoy the pics. Any questions about this I will be happy to answer.
So, the red old vehicle is the original Elvis car from 1958.
Questions left unanswerered are: how did it get to the US? Did Elvis take it with him? Did he give it to an actress?
fact of the matter is, it is in the US right now. The car is owned by Jack Castor now, the man in the picture.
