Strong voice, beautiful man, wish they'd "remaster" this concert up and release it already! I strongly agree,why is it taking so long to leagally release all of ELvis unrealeased concerts to the public.The MSG shows would sell very well if promoted in the right way.

I think Sony/RCA has no truely new music from Elvis in the vaults and so they are left with outtakes, and live performances.
The truely special live shows such as the MSG shows are going to be guarded and hoarded specifically because.... they are special-we may want them right now-but Sony needs to keep the special things aside for huge promotions in special years (perhaps the 40th anniversay will be such a year) but when the vaults have such scarce new material-they have to pick and choose the right years for spending time and money on really special promotions. IMO. If they had a ton of new quality material in their vaults the strategy would be much different-but they don't.

but if they don't so better marketing and packaging, there's not going to be that many people left to care

certainly not the first/second generation of fans who want it the most
