Since EPE now has extra land to hold big events, they should seriously consider using protions of it to hold an Elvis Presley music festival with popular recording artists highlighting it on one or two large stages. They're holding the first ever Elvis Motor Car show there this Memorial Day weekend on the newly added land. So why not a music festival there? They have just over 70 acres of land on the west side of the boulevard behind the Plaza. Something like that could go a long way in gaining respect for Elvis, the groundbreaking historian. It would also significantly increase their revenue. This is something I would personally like to see happen soon, as within the next year or two.

Perhaps they will-it could be a good thing. I am not so sure of the "gaining respect for Elvis" end of your suggestion.
They have had current artists in the past involved in Elvis specials (Elvis Lives, the 25th Anniversary tribute concert in Memphis etc....) I think it draws some attention to Elvis-but the respect end only comes when an individual "gets it" .............some could see every new hot artist in the world pay tribute to Elvis and not "get it" but the majority of his fans never needed to see or hear anything except Elvis......on record....live on stage....in a movie-and they "get it"
All other promotions to attract new fans pale in comparison to the longevity of a fan who "gets it"
