The show got off to a rocky start with the critics but since has created a buzz around Las Vegas. Some love it while some still don't get it. However it's reaching alot of new fans and that's what it's for. Bringing long term interest to Elvis is what is most important while at the same time keeping the integrity intact. Which is what I think 'Viva Elvis' is doing.

Any word yet on a possible cd release of the show soundtrack in remixed form? :hmm:

It is being released in September this year. It will be a Remix album. Hoping for a No.1 on the Billboard Charts. Sony have already stated that they are going to give this release the biggest push since the 30 No.1's a few years back.

Every Labor Day in the U.S.A. the Jerry Lewis Telethon raises money for Muscular Dystrophy. Last night they showed the cast of 'Viva Elvis' performing 'Blue Suede Shoes'. Apparently, they put on a great performance and afterwards Jerry personally thanked them for their hard work.
