This is my favorite portrayal of Elvis, partly because it was the first I really found out about him as a 9-year-old kid. Having watched the movie on video tape 20+ times, to own this DVD is a dream come true! The picture quality is outstanding compared to the old tapes! I was also surprised to view scenes I'd never seen before. I won't give away all of the surprise scenes, however, my favorite is Elvis and Priscilla arguing at the dinner table about her lack of friends. This scene should have been left in, in my opinion.
I'll always be a fan of this movie and Elvis himself.
