Yeah, is she ever going to get close to looking like she used to? What a shame. When you see old footage of her from 20 or so years ago, she was still
absolutely beautiful. What was she thinking? Someone like herself probably needed minimal if any plastic surgery. Her natural beauty was stunning. If she didn't have the surgery, I'm sure her looks would not have suffered, even if she is over 60. Now she looks nothing like her former self. Saying that though Teddy. I think some people who have plastic surgery and looks extremely good with it. Its just a case of knowing how much to have and when to stop. also, people that have too much just dont look like themselves anymore.

That wasn't the situation 2 years ago.
Anyway, many of them pretend to like her just so they can stay in pole-position and put the boot in when it counts. It's classic subterfuge and the fact that they go to such trouble to 'remain behind enemy lines' is astonishing and disturbing in equal measure.

It was the phoniness which ultimately drove me away. At least here you know what you're dealing with. I've even enjoyed my tussles with the likes of Donut and our dearly missed Rosanne because it's honest and that enables it to be good-spirited. By contrast, if you're dealing with people who are lying before you've even exchanged words, the atmosphere becomes toxic.

If I remember correctly, they are (controversially) in Cu*rie G*ant's car here. so those are most likely C*rrie's wife Carol's shoes.

I don't know about 'ruining her emotionally' but you have to assume that it would have a profound effect on the way she 'manages her feelings'.

For instance, I think it's rather shortsighted to condemn Priscilla for not publicly breaking down and weeping at the very mention of Elvis's name (or on a televised tour of his grave site, for instance) when she had to learn to conceal extremely turbulent feelings at a particularly sensitive age.
Everybody deals with emotional struggles differently and I don't think Cilla's behavior reflects a general lack of care, as some people would have us believe. She's probably just trying to retain dignity in the only way she knows how.
