I know that Elvis met Charlie Hodge when he was in the Army. But dos anyone know what date he met him.

Elvis first met Charlie backstage after the group Charlie was with, performed in Memphis, Tennessee, to promote ABC-TV's Ozark Jubilee, which premiered on ABC-TV on January 22, 1955. But I don't know the exact date they met.

They met up again in 1958, when both of them were in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas.

I agree completely topo!! I think Charlie was a genuine friend to Elvis and never spoke with anything but love and admiration for Elvis. :D
