To all Elvis Fans and Memphis citizens (Memphians).

I have a group called "Forever Libertyland", dedicated to saving Libertyland, Memphis' only amusement park. The park closed down in 2005,and now they are trying to tear down the entire park, including the rollercoaster," The Zippin Pippin". Elvis went to Libertyland several times, even renting it out for just him and his friends. "The Zippin Pippin" was his favorite rollercoaster. We need to get the word out to all Elvis fans and Memphis citizens so we can save Libertyland!

Why do they always want to tear down something, when maybe it just needs a little paint or maintenance. We have a throw out world....
It is so sad.
Someone with a lot of money could probably stop it! Petitions don't normally work if the owner has determined to sell to the highest bidder..so someone with mucho bucks could over bid and keep it!
Wish I was in that catagory.
