MSG has a poll on its site to decide which of the acts that performed there is the best. Of course Elvis is listed, and we can all vote for him.

I seee that Elvis has moved up to 27% in the poll. I believe he is trailing the Rolling Stones, who are at 31%.

Excuse me, but the Rolling Stones - unarguably the greatest rock'n'roll band in history - have never put on a "blah" show.
As great as Elvis was, especially for his MSG shows, the fact is that his hour or so on stage can't really compare to some of the other great shows that have occurred there.

When Mick Jagger made that quote he wasn't talking about Elvis' MSG shows.
I don't think Elvis' MSG shows were all that spectacular.

I can quite categorically state that none of their shows were blah.
Yes, even the Steel Wheels tour.
And, yes, they rocked The Garden far more meaningfully that Elvis, sorry to say.
Rolling Stones can't compare to Elvis in my book. It's all a matter of taste.
