I don't think so, Nicole. With todays standards - digital cameras - i think U2, Rolling Stones or even Michael Jackson has been "captured" more on film.

I mean the most photographed man, not person or group.

it's hard to say which person is the most photographed in history.
People say it was Princess Diana but I don't know how they would know that for sure.
It seems to me that it would be impossibe to count every single photograph of every person ever photographed so you wouldn't really know.
I do know Elvis was photographed a lot though

I believe he was. Although probably not most photographed as in the actual number of photos. But most photographed as in we have more photos documenting almost every important part of his life. His tours in the 50's. His army induction, physical, trip to boot camp, the death of his mother, her funeral, . . .
see where I'm going with this?
There isn't any way to tell for sure but I suspect thanks to the tabloids and TMZ and stuff like that there are people that have been photographed more over a short period of time.
Muhammad Ali also traveled with a photographer and there are a few pretty big books out there of just photos of him. He's known everywhere even places they never showed his fights they chant his name and show up in crowds when he would visit.
Elvis was photographed so often though that its amazing that there are people that he met , thats established he knew like example Ricky Nelson that no photos seem to exist of the two together .

There's a Michael Jackson site on the net that has around 16,000 photos.

Friends, Nicole has a good question here.
Because yes, Elvis held that record of being the most photographed person!
Not sure if that still is the case, but he certainly was for a long time!

well, looking at the gallery here and all the candids, I sometimes think he was... just that nowadays with all the cell phone cameras, paparazzis and there might be more photos out there of other celebrities... :hmm:

I don't know a way of knowing for sure, except looking at the amount of photos of each and every phase of his life.
I will dare to say, he might have been the most photographed man of his time, definitively could be, that's to say, the most photographed man between the mid 50's though the mid 70's. Even beyond Bealtes, and the Stones.
Today, as someone else said on a previous post, with digital cameras, cel phones, and after the mid 80's the paparazzis craze, maybe some other guy already beat the record, but as I said, Elvis might have the record in his era.
How do you count this anyway?
I read this some time. Elvis is the man most photographed man of all time. It is have a time. I guess that not change.
If he is not the most photographed man-he has to be in the top 5 I'm sure.
He probably was at one time.Im sure he isnt even close to the top now.Like previously stated with the cell phone camera's and the modern age it's all changed.I cant even imagine how many people snap pics with their phones at concerts now.Today's celebs also have to deal with paparazzi's all the time.Elvis didnt have that during his time.He could walk out and meet fans at graceland like it was no big deal. Those days have been gone a long time.

Wonder the amount of Elvis pics and videos we may have, if digital photo and video, plus the paparazzi's thing would have been back in Elvis time!!!
