the sunset cd sounds a bit rough, well, not much better than the bootleg version, the live stuff on disc 2 sounds ok, JR cd is great, cd2 has some nice outtakes of treat me nice that have slightly different guitar work on them.

I've gotten Nevada Nights and I love it!
Also, bought Standing Room Only after I heard it on Jay Gordons' Elvis Only. In my opinion the sound is fantastic!

The sound on Sunset is not much better then it was on the import cd years ago. The artwork on Sunset must however be the poorest so far. Why use these dark, fuzzy pictures on the cover??

Jailhouse is very nice, but a lot of the same considering what was released in the past.

Like I said, Ron, the sound is not much better, and true, some is edited!

I was looking forward to "From Sunset to Vegas" (hoping for improved sound quality), but was dissappointed after listening. The sounds is even less, instead of an improvement of the "From Sunset Boulevard to Paradise Road" (DAE label). The sounds is harsh and even quite upleasant to listen to. But if you don't have that other CD, I still can warmly recommend it (y)

the Jailhouse Rock FTD is (as most of the 7" re-releases) a very welcome addition to my collection. The first disc is simply wonderfull. I won't treat the 2nd disc to a spin very often I guess, since I'm not that crazy about listening to just a few songs, with dozens of takes.
