After the show, Elvis went directly to his hotel and ordered his staff to leave him alone. He was in severe depression which lasted several days.

Elvis arrives back in Memphis. Once at Graceland he goes directly to his bedroom and does not speak to anyone or come out until the following night.

RCA set up a portable recording studio at Graceland. At 9:00 p.m. Elvis came down stairs to the Jungle Room and recorded " It's Easy For You" "Way Down" and "Pledging My Love". He spent most of the evening inside his bedroom. The session lasted until 8:00 am

Elvis tells Felton he was not in the mood for recording this evening. His order of Harley- Davidson motorcycles arrive which Elvis insits on taking out on trial runs. He gives JD. Summer his white Lincolon limousine so he and the Stamps can drive back to Nashville in style.

In The evening, Elvis flies to Las Vegas with Ginger and his staff. They go directly to the Hilton Hotel and remain there for the next four or five days.
