in the book ELVIS day by day , ELVIS made an appearance on deweys tv show pop tunes in 58 , just wondering if this could be a mistake, as i heard there is no tape of this show, anyone have any details?

I know that Elvis made an appearance in 1954.
And the funny thing is that everybody listening Elvis during the interview,but Elvis don't know this:lol:!
Because Dewey don't say that to him:lol:!

Elvis used to go to a record store near the Lauderdale Courts called "Pop Tunes"
Dewey Phillip show was called "Red Hot and Blue" on radio-and he was fired from this show in 1958.
So I'm not sure of what they were saying in the "Day by Day" book?

As I said before Elvis don't appearance in 1958,but in 1954.
I read this in the Elvis's Biography Last Train For Memphis.

in the book day by day the date given for the tv appearnce is dec, 31, 1956, so don't know if they are wrong about a tv show maybe it was a radio program , many thanx for all the help guys.

I know that Dewey had a Radio Program not a Show Program,and I know reading the biography of Peter,that Elvis(as I said before)apperance little after the comeout of his first song That's Allright Mama(July).
And are from that day is start the friendship.
