You do realize that several books have been written about Elvis devoted to this entire subject alone.
I didn't see any of you holding up signs protesting the release of any of those books.
Now back to the subject at hand.
I would guess a lot of women but far less than other rock stars like Mick Jagger and Gene Simmons.

I don't see what the big deal is with this particular issue. When the Man is pulled to bits about his temper, drugs, womanising etc.....what's the difference?
It is another question which nobody has a clue..........probably most women who entered his bedroom, he never had sex with.

I don't necessarily want to know all the details of his 'private' life but I do however like to hear about his different relationships with other women. Most of them seem to be overshadowed and overlooked because of the big players, priscilla and linda, that we hear soooo much about.
Don't think thats too instrusive .... it's just female curiousity ;)

the question was not meant to be about sexuality, it is about my curiosity to know who he felt close enough to share his home bed with, (doing whatever) because it does not seem like that many were allowed into that private sanctuary. and I'm also curious as to why??

It doesn't matter that you didn't mean it in a sexual way it does not change the fact that it is Elvis' private life. Your curiosity cannot be quenched because no-one can answer this question apart from Elvis, for that reason I find it a lack of respect to him and a waste of time also.

I can see everybody's point of view on this subject.
However, it would be not correct to close this thread because of the subject it discusses. Then we would also have to close immediately when they are posted, all thread on Priscilla and Elvis (they invade Priscilla's privacy and Elvis') and we would have to close all drug related issues as well, since they often also are not very respectful for Elvis.
But this particular one will be closed if the answers given cross certain lines.

Those books were about two ladies that were in a romantic relationship with Elvis and Yes, they did talk about their sex life with him but neither book was entirely about it only a small portion.
When I said books entirely devoted to the subject I meant things like the Girls guide to Elvis and others.
That books is all about Elvis sex life and I bet a lot of it is untrue.

Could be
Most Elvis books don't sell much anyway.
You know when that Byron Raphael guy was making up stories for Playboy magazine. a lot of Elvis fans were outraged and wrote letters to Playboy and Elvis related websites and rightly so.
My view is you've got to stand up against this sort of thing.
EPE should do it because they are suppose to protect Elvis image but they do nothing.
So that leaves the fans.

Yes, as we know, any public protest then the book sells more, for EPE to do that, the book would be a best seller - they are being smart in my opinion.
That's when the fans should say things on these type of sites, which we do.
Byron was some guy that was totally jealous, (or lived vicariously through the thought of Elvis' life as his own) if I recall (n) So many like that.

I don't recall EPE ever standing up for Elvis over the playboy articles on any websites.
I know Marty Lacker, Lamar Fike and George Klein issued statements but not one from EPE.
I think they should have put up a statement on one of the Elvis fan site or something.
Where were all of Elvis girlfriends that are alive they could've issued statements on Elvis sites.

It's not how much detail is revealed it's that it was at all. I tend to think Elvis would not like his private life being exposed.

To be perfectly honest I believe that Elvis probably didn't sleep with as many people as is rumoured. I bet their are a lot of women who spent the night and just talked who have exaggerated their claims :hmm:
I also believe that Elvis himself had a sense of propriety that he didn't share with the guys and perhaps he exaggerated his claims :hmm:
I believe Elvis bedded his fair share of beauties in the 50's, however by the 60's & 70's he would have chosen those who he trusted and these would have been fewer and further between.
Lastly I also think that Elvis would have been more than a little bit weary of those who would have gotten pregnant.. By accident of course ;)

No, this board mainly discusses Elvis' private life.
I've noticed that too.
I would say this question is impossible to answer. How could anyone know the correct answer?
My situation is is quite different however.I keep a chalkboard mounted to my headboard so I can just reach up and puit down a hashmark for each conquest. When Im long gone people will be able to look at my chalkboard and get an accurate total. It's a shame Elvis didnt do something similiar. Please excuse me now,I need to run to Wal Mart and buy more chalk.Im always running out.

We know at least some of them
Women that claim to have you know..................
Tempest Storm, Priscilla, Linda Thompson, Barbara Leigh, Joyce Bova, Sheila Ryan, Cybill Shephard and Kathy Westmoreland.
Ann Margret has never said one way or the other.
I don't think any of the following women ever did
Dixie Locke, Yvonne Lime, Anita Wood, Sandy Ferra, Bonnie Bunkley, Connie Stevens, Natalie Wood, Barbara Hearn, Jocathy Brownee, Diana Goodman, Ginger Alden
Women that claim to have but are most likely lying about it.
Tura Santana
Diana Dors.
....................................
so that would be 8 women that we know about.
"so that would be 8 women that we know about"
Im guessing the final tally might go a bit higher.

What's the story with the Lido girls in Paris???
that's why I said ''that we know about''
What's the story with the Lido girls in Paris???
I believe the subject said "bed in Graceland".This would eliminate the Lido girls.I believe Tempest never made it to Graceland either knocking the total down to 7.If we start talking about all the women it would be a mighty impressive total Im sure.He was Elvis after all. It's my understanding the vehicle used by Elvis,Scotty and Bill back in the day would give the Graceland bed a run for it's money. Please forgive me if Im steering this topic down a seedy path.In all honesty we probably dont really need to know this info.

It's my understanding the vehicle used by Elvis,Scotty and Bill back in the day would give the Graceland bed a run for it's money.
 But I guess it couldn't compete with his Hilton suite.

didn't Billy Smith say that he and his wife would inspect women for Elvis? I don't know where that was. my point was that it seems like Graceland was only for special women in his life. that with Lisa there, he tried not to expose her to very many women. it was as if Graceland was more of a private place that he wanted peace at and only comforting women.
