In the 74 Memphis concert Elvis sings "...somethings you know, Pete, are meant to be..."

Who the heck is Pete?

I don't know why i never thought of asking that here until now?

Was he from Sweden? The name sounds un-American (US-names could be: Jeffrey, Michael, Mitchell and such)..

Well, I know it must be difficult to pronounce right!

Yes, Hallin is Swedish.

Useless trivia: He was the voice of Donald Duck in Swedish translations of Disney films.
