I was listening to Sirius XM's Elvis Radio yesterday and they played the original version of Flaming Star, titled. "Black Star." Just wondering if anyone else has heard it?

Black Star is cool i like it's slightly slower than Flaming Star. Is available on the CD: Double Features Flaming Star Follow That Dream and Collector's Gold.

Very similar to "Flaming Star"......like the slower part though. I think "Flaming Star" makes for a nicer image though.

I recall it was actually the title of the script for the movie -then someone decided it needed a little more fire in it (pun intended) so it became Flaming Star
