Hey everyone, this is my first post, just getting my feel for the great forum you guys got going here!
I was just wondering if anybody else has purchased the Elvis: The Official Collectors Edition magazine that came out some time ago.
I subscribed some time ago to it, and have just recieved my last copy. It has been an amazing series, including the 'artefacts' you get each issue.
Any thoughts on it anyone? :)

I saw this just over 2 years ago when I was subscribing to an Egyptian series by the same publishers. At that time it wasn't available here (NZ). As soon as it was released I subscribed. It really is well presented with a beautiful folder and a box to hold the artifacts. So it's taken this long to get here, I wonder why it was not a world wide release.

Yeah the magazine is from England :)
Sorry about that guys i just stupidly forgot we're not all from England haha!
It is really good and the artefacts you get (3 with each issue) are really interesting and well copied from the Graceland arcives.
Thanks for the welcome again Mike, and no problem with the information (y)
May i just say, TCB IS GREAT!!!!

I collected all of them!...the series with the DVD collection...pretty much all the DVDs except of course for "Elvis On Tour"..which made it look a tiny bit incomplete to my mind!
Have to admit I really liked the "artifacts" aspect of it...nice having your little collector box full of everything from Elvis` birth cert to the promotional posters... all fun stuff!
The one bit I didn`t understand was why they included "Elvis-The early years" with Jonathan Rhys Meyers.....just didn`t belong in there with "Jailhouse Rock","TTWII" and all the other classics!
Still, enjoyed collecting it.... even it did end up being a bit pricey!!!

Yeah it was pricey huh!, £2.99 an issue, but to me it was deifnately worth it because of the artefacts (y) im glad someone else has collected it here, makes it seem a little more worth it aswell :)
Loving TCBWorld guys,

Ohh man not too good then! ...at least you have it now ;)
I love the mini posters and really important artefacts, like Elvis' karate ceritficate and Army discharge etc.
I didnt get the DVDs because at the time i didnt have the money to get all of them, so i didnt want like half the collection if you know what i mean.
Still a fantastic collection (y)

How many issues will there be? I'm up to 78 or so.
I think they've really stretched it out way too far ... and some of the artefacts were quite lame.
But overall a good production - despite several mislabelled pics and other oddments which were incorrect.

Yeah i did notice it very long, and towards the last issues they just talk about 1956 again in the life story section; some wrongly named pictures etc, but like you i think its well worth it.
There are 90 issues, with the last one being an 'Index' issue, it shows everything in the different categories and which issue numbers they are in, its really helpful instead of trawling through the magazines to read about something specific.
