Very common in layman terms, it is the first signs of a stoke, mini strokes which alter the speech, the eye movement, the heart rate and gait of the person. I suspect Elvis showed these signs before anything was done to help him.

Ladies and gentlemen,
He was not only pushed beyond his means, he was tired, he was ill, he was angry and all of these things showed up, perhaps not so much with the gospel songs, that he enjoyed.
But he could no longer make the fancy moved that he was famous for near the end..I think had any person in their right mind could see he was in trouble, stop the concert..not "The show must go on" get him to a hospital! They didn't..they pushed him to the breaking point many times over.

Elvis was hospitalised on several occasion to detox, however shortly after he would relapse. I'm not sure I filly agree with the statement of "They didn't..they pushed him to the breaking point many times over". Elvis lead a lifestyle that had to be maintained, he had to earn money to pay for this lifestyle! Elvis allowed those around him to stay at Graceland, he could and did sack members of the MM albeit through his father.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is Elvis lived a lavish lifestyle, so much of the pressure on Elvis was brought on by himself. So, the blame should be shared equally!

Like Matt said, keep it on topic... On a side note, Elvis condition had nothing to do with a so called TIA. I know what it is, and it's not what Elvis had.
Now let's go back to TCBing here...

TCB-World Moderator Sonny -
Please be consistent with the guidelines and removal of posts.
If they are not on topic or of a personal note, then it would be quite equitable to remove ALL of them.
Letting the posters know their post was removed and the reason for its removal would go a long way in 'TCBing'.
Of course, this is just my opinion and suggestion.....

I'm sorry for the fact many people already dislike me, but I agree with most of what you have to say.

Well I have a high ranking moderator who disagree's with my opinion, so I guess I can remove my theory or tell the many Dr's through the years they are wrong as well..
Each person and their cholesterol level and there back breaking demanding work, or couch potato life style exhibits these symptoms in many causual ways..we are not manicans in a window that just stand there. If you think about it, Elvis loved fried Peanut butter and 'nana sandwiches right? Some people eat Peanut butter, not knowing they are allergic and drop dead of anaphalactic shock before anyone can fdigure out what happened. Just my opinion though. No big deal.

... which Elvis did not have in any way, shape or form.
This explains why none of his doctors found it, obviously.
It doesn't take Columbo or Kojak to figure it out!

I THINK WE'VE REACHED THE END OF THIS THREAD FOLKS. WE'VE GOTTEN WAY OFF THE ORIGINAL TOPIC AND DESPITE THE REQUESTS FROM THE OTHER MODERATORS TO GET BACK ON TOPIC, IT DOESN'T APPEAR THAT WE ARE HEADING IN THAT DIRECTION SO THIS THREAD IS BEING CLOSED!!!
DO NOT CARRY THE DISAGREEMENTS, ARGUMENTS & INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS FROM THIS THREAD OVER TO THE OTHER THREADS SIMPLY BECAUSE THIS ONE HAS BEEN CLOSED, OTHERWISE POSSIBLE DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS WILL HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED!!! :nono:
TCB!
Mike
