Elvis continues to perform at the International Hotel. On this evening he appeared more relaxed than in the previous week. Colonel Parker informed him that one of Nevada's largest hotel's had offered him five million if Elvis would commit to appear for the next ten years. The Colonel advised Elvis he would offically refuse the offer the next morning.

I was three years old when he left us...To have been Elvis-aware when that happened...must have been something.
