I actually really like the girl who plays Priscilla. She has the naughty eyebrows, which are a vital ingredient in Cilla's appeal http://smiley.net.ru/lovhea014.gif (http://smiley.net.ru/lovhea1.htm)
I love the way the film depicts her wandering around Weisbaden in a cute duffle coat and socks, appearing to be haunted by the threat of intercourse everywhere she turns

Right, I think it should have been titled, "Elvis Still Supports Me". I know the age issue is always sad when you think about it but she really painted herself to look like a victim. In reality she was just sitting around looking pretty spending his money and living like a Queen. She knew how Elvis was the sad part is, Elvis didn't know how she was until after Lisa was born. There where accounts of her going out dancing hooking up with, Frankie Lymon, that got back to Elvis in 1968. Maybe that's the real reason the didn't want to have sex with her. So she says. But Elvis' old fashioned values deep down I believe his mother would not have liked Elvis divorcing when he had a kid. Even after the divorce she kept requesting more money. We all know from numerous accounts how giving Elvis was and she manipulated that beautiful part of him.
Let see how far her career would have gone if she lost that last name.
People would be like, Priscilla who?

I know you all can be mad at Priscilla sometimes and I know elvis was that too. but I think Elvis always loved her so much even if them get divorce.

Anna, I agree with you. I think Elvis did love Priscilla and that is the reason
that I am not happy with her at times. I think they loved each other; but,
for some reason, that was not enough to keep them together. It was sad.:D

I could be wrong, but, it seems to me that Priscilla liked the Hollywood scene
and Elvis preferred to make the movies and go back to Memphis. He didn't
care for the Hollywood scene tha much from what I have read. This seemed
to be one factor that came between them.:D:D:D:D

It's possible cause she did establish herself there. I think the divorce was more of a blow to Elvis' ego than anything. The way it really went down and how she publicly told the tabloids about Mike Stone. Also I think to Elvis, she was this pretty little arm candy he liked showing off.
Don't get me wrong, I like that people on here enjoy different types of Elvis stuff and it's always cool to research the film yourself and come to your own conclusions. That's why I'm so thankful of this post. It keeps Elvis fans alive & sharp . If they enjoy it so be it. It's just that by the time I saw the movie when it aired, I was catching all the errors in it due to me being a book worm. She knew who he was and was involved in what ever he was into in the bedroom even with other women but decided at her convenience that that lifestyle was enough. If Elvis' affairs were so wrong in her eyes does 2 wrongs make a right? She sleeps with the karate instructor that Elvis is paying for. Elvis wasn't so negative or in a grouchy mood. Look at all them home movies of him, some that she had filmed. He's the life of the party and everyone is enjoying themselves around him. Made me wish, I was there with Elvis and his friends. They go back to the movie and It's a contradiction to how the story portrayed Elvis.
Is there a movie about Elvis where we are 100% satisfied on how they portrayed him?

No, I don't so
I thought the 1979 t.v. biopic starring Kurt Russell was an okay movie despite some inaccurcies like Elvis talking to his shadow of his dead stillborn twin
Despite that I don't think it put Elvis in a negative light like portraying him as a jerk.
I know a lot of people dislike Elvis and the Beauty Queen with Don Johnson but I thought the movie was okay for what it was.
You can tell the movie was low budget and it only covers an overwiew of some of things that happened between Linda and Elvis and not the complete picture and both Don Johnson and the woman that played Linda were both miscast Elvis is still portrayed as a good guy that is troubled he isn't portrayed as a terrible human being.
In Elvis and Nixon you had things happen in the movie that didn't happen in real life and it portrayed Elvis as more cluessless and goofy than he really was but again he comes off as likeable and not a bad man and the movie is suppose to be a parody not taking itself seriously so I enjoyed it.
Michael St. Gerard in Elvis the early years that was okay as well
I didn't like Elvis and Me because Elvis was portrayed as being this jerk and being negative all the time if he was really like that why didn't she leave him much sooner.
I agree with you about the home movies.
Even though I didn't like Elvis and Me the worst i ever saw was the Elvis miniseries from 2005 with Jonathan Rhys Meyers that series was so inaccurate and weird one minute you had Elvis screaming at everyone then they'd cut to a scene where he was giving a black woman a cadillac.
It was poorly researched, poorly put together and poorly acted
I couldn't believe Rhys Meyers won the golden globe for best Actor in a miniseries beating out both Ed Harris and Donald Sutherland!!!
Rhys Meyers portrayal was the worst i've ever seen.
Most fans feel that these miniseries and t.v. movies made about Elvis are too inaccurate to be any good but Hollywood portraying events inaccurately in people's lives is standard.
Jerry Lee Lewis was unhappy with the film made about him starring Dennis Quaid.
Members of the Doors were unhappy with how the Oliver Stone movie portrayed Jim Morrison and themselves.
I saw a Jimi Hendrix t.v. movie that was very low budget.
For all the praise the Johnny Cash biopic I Walk the Line got I felt it was a carbon copy of the Ray Charles biopic Ray just insert Cash's life story instead
and I felt it really wasn't that good anyway it was just mediocre could've been a lot better.
Johnny Cash kids from his first marriage complained how their mother was being portrayed inaccurately as well as certain other events.

accurately and with any intent other than to make the $$. :D:D:D:D:D

No disrespect but I absolutely hated this movie..... surely they could have got someone better to play Elvis... which is probably the main reason that so many of the films about Elvis fail to impress..especially for the fans... I guess Kurt Russell did about the best job so far from what i`ve seen.
