According to Essentail Elvis (where this was published) it was taken in Memphis. Elvis is walking into a car showroom to buy about 14 cars. The strange thing is that he is wearing a jumpsuit. It was discussed in an edition about 8 months ago.

They also published a picture taken recently and the gates are still there.

This is a fascinating story anybody got any further info?

I believe its July 1975 look at the collar around his neck. For some reason during July '75 tours he wore those Indian collars around his neck.

I agree, it looks like he has shrunk quite a bit.

If someone didn't say that that was Elvis, I would've thought it was an Elvis impersonator.

the weight thingy was no prob 4 elvis..he knew and acepted himself as he was..he gained slimmed down so many times ..from oct 74 to june 77 ..elvis weight was never stable from month to month it changed:blink:.. .if he wanted to he could of went back to his normal weight ..if he put his mind to it..but there were other more serious probs in his life during those times:doh: like the bookie some of his bodyguards were about to release -drugs -blah blah blah etc....and im off topic so im outta here:lol:(y)http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e160/selenauno/smiley-gen101.gif..that piccy is def not from 76

I think Elvis should have confined the jumpsuits to the stage.He probably looked a little out of place in the car showroom.So much for keeping a low profile.
