At first it was his voice. It has something that I can't explain. then I saw a pic of him and fell for his beautiful smile and his eyes. (His eyes have something special.) When I started to read more about him I loved his generosety, his charm and the warmth he gave.

His amazing voice, I saw the Arcade LP advertised on tv and bugged my parents until I got it lol they thought I was too young

I remember one time when I was little, the tv was on and I was upstairs and I heard his voice and went running downstairs and found him on the tv set, his voice is magic it just draws people to him like a magnet, so much depth, so much heart and soul.

As a child I was very lonely and there was a ban on emotion. So I could at least crawl into Elvis' music where the most diverse of feelings were to be found, up to the point of autism I suppose. So if I had to shut up, I could at least listen to the music I liked. Well my father still inquired "you've been acting so strangely lately" while letting my brother terrorize me and the neighbourhood with hardcore house. It's a strange world.

It's weird....I was never an Elvis fan per say. I was about 14 when he died. We never had his music playing in our house, no one seemed affected by his death.

Years later I got his Number one Hits (the gold cd) and the liner notes were so intriguing. His early career, sky rocket to fame. It caught my attention + I started reading about him, listening to his early stuff and fell in love!

What a story.
