Whatever happened to Elvis after his divorce, don't see many photos after that of him signing autographs down at the gates/or grounds at Graceland?

I think he still continued to go down to talk with the fans from time to time just isn't as much footage or photo's as before

Aren't there some photo's from 1974 and even 1977?

Someone will know for sure and post these.

I have only seen some of Elvis coming or going on his motorcycle/car, not like in the 50's/60's where he was riding his horse, or just standing there, or inside his car signing autographs.

He didn't seem to stop the car for the fans in the 70's.

I hope someone has some photos from then, that would be great. (y)

Thanks (y)

That would certainly be hard to argue with... :hmm:

I think after the divorce especially, Elvis was well out of his equestrian phase so he wasn't riding his horses down to the fence anymore and walking down to the gates was something that probably just wasn't feasible for whatever reason (security, health, lack of motivation, etc.). Plus Elvis was out on tour so often, he probably didn't have the large periods of time at home like he did in the 60's when he would be home for longer periods of time in between movies.

Just my thoughts...

If I remember correctly, during the 1970s, Elvis was becoming increasingly paranoid. He was receiving death threats, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was just scared for his safety.

Also I think he 'horses' phase had finished.
From what we read he spent a lot of time in the bedroom when he was home
