Er... still I can't see the link between the two of them and I think the 'facts' about Elvis are not completely right. I'm sorry mozzarella.

That is stretching things a bit, though i guess there was a connection with Mrs Bela's songwriting.
Elvis Vs Bela could be a sequel to Plan 9 From Outer Space

I agree....Elvis had some pretty electrifying shows in Las Vegas....just because it was another phase in Elvis' career, doesn't make it "weird"....interesting story, but no real connection.
I also know there is an article about Elvis and Vampira (the scream queen of the 1950s) in a back issue of a collectors magazine called "Filmfax"
What is says exactly I do not know-I have seen the cover of it in its back issues section, but what I get from the hints on the cover is they were suppose to have met in Vegas during Elvis's 1950s Vegas engagement-but thats all I know of it.
In the most recent "Filmfax" Dennis Hopper commenting on his James Dean connection mentioned that Elvis sought out anyone who knew Dean and that Hopper and Elvis hung out some in the 50s-he claims Elvis did not know film fights were staged to look real-he claims Elvis thought you had to really hit and punch the other actors??

Surely he didn't think Elvis was so thick, he didn't know they were fake punches???

Yeah, probly you're right. The guy who's obviously a huge fan of both artists tried to make a nonsense comparison, a what if... type article. At the end he adds: Is this an April 1st joke? Or something like that...
