I think Elvis wasn't only a great singer but one of the most handsome men ever lived (y) I can tell it's easy for a woman to fell in love with him and not to admire only his talent...this is what happened to me too :wub:

I don't know if there are girls here that like him only as a singer and nothing more...it can happen but with Elvis I think it's really hard :lol:

Someone can have different tastes about men but he was sure pure perfection :clap:

I know that I'm not only a huge fan but I too fell in love with him from the get go. I think he is the most talented, creative, gorgeous man on this earth. And he just does it for me...

He ALWAYS makes me smile or laugh. No matter how down I am, all I have to do is look at picture of his gorgeous smiling face or hear that heavenly voice, watch him on the screen and thats it...my heart is done for. He stole my heart long ago and its been his ever since!:D

IMO, he is the best looking Man to walk this earth. He is the ultimate 'Sex God'!!!! With the total package of looks and a voice like honey.
We all 'think' we are in love with him, but we can't be. We do not know HIM, only his 'Image'. We all read every snippet of information to try to get inside his mind/life, but it's impossible as we were not part of his life!!!!

First, I fell in love with his voice (I'd heard of It's Now Or Never on a tv. commercial) Then, years later, I saw a picture of him in a music shop, I fell in love with that photo , when I discovered that voice belonged to that picture, I became a fan :D

Until I found this forum here. When I first fell in love with Elvis my parents said I´m crazy & I thought no one else falls in lovewith someone who´s dead.

I think any fan who wishes she could be with elvis it is just a fantasy,as we all know he has been gone 32 years now... yea he is beautiful, handsome all those things you say to.. for me it is not about love its about the whole package, which to me is when elvis presley came into our lives.. any man who says elvis was not gggo looking needs there eyes testing but i dont think you will find one out there who will disagree with us all on that one ...my husband said to me elvis is a very handsome man. i think you will find we all have diffrent views. great thread to.

I fall in love with Elvis for the first day i hear him sing and when I go to the shop in my country I see this pic of Elvis on a cd and that was the first cd I buy of Elvis.

I have been a Elvis fan sence i was 10 or 13 years old . I really love Elvis Presley and When I always have feel bad and have a bad day his music have always made me happy.

I am Glad that his music come in my life 4 or 2 years before my mothers dead because that have help me a lot.

I fell in love a long time ago..his voice first and his songs and then his beautiful looks, his personnality. I know that I'm in love with someone dead for over 30 years and someone I never knew personaly but I can't help it. May be I am crazy, I have my own life but he is always there in my heart..forever.:wub::wub:

With his voice, his look, his smile, his laughter, his moving... He was so perfect! A woman told in TTWII (in the original version from 1970): "It is hard to describe what a fan is. It is a phenomenon, like falling in love. You can't describe how it happened, it is just when you're in love, you know it. And it is the same with being an Elvis fan."

He really was not only the most talented singer, but the most beautiful man ever!! With perfect body, and really angelic voice. So it was not too hard to fall in love with him. And I think there was something in him what could bring out the mother from a woman. Maybe because he lost his mother and somehow he always stayed a child inside. Anyways I'm really happy that I became a fan and fell in love with him. This is one of the best things what ever happened to me.

My mom said that when I as about 5 y/o I said that Elvis was very sexy! I've been hooked on him ever since (22 years and counting!). He was a total package. What was there not to love? I know that there are guys out there that have the same talent as Elvis did but they're lacking in the personality area. I think that most of his female fans are in love with him so don't feel bad :hug:

Personally I fell in love with his voice and the way he makes me feel. But in real life, you know, things are a bit different. Elvis was not a man who could commit to only one woman so any kind of relationship with him would have been disastrous! I'm A 16 yr about to be 17 yr on aug.17 and i do believe that elvis is an extreamly handsome man, with a powerful voice, but as to say that i am inlove with the man...no (yes i do love the man ) but not in any sexual way i see elvis mearly as an idol that i look up to, and a figured that did more than just help the music industry. so nicole does that answers your question.:king:

What attracted me to Elvis was that cry of pain I heard in his voice. Of course I liked the earlier rock 'n roll records among other styles, but the voice of the 70's invited me to examine his music more thoroughly. He sang from true experience whereas so many singers are just spoiled brats. If you listen to some recordings of the 70's you can actually feel the sweat drops coming through the speakers, the same way Johnny Cash did with his cigarettes and Hank Williams with back pain and strong liquor.

If you're in love with the man, I suggest you to make sure whether you can seperate love and lust, LOL!

I totally agree with you Diane. I have loved him dearly since I was a little girl, but that's not the same thing as a man that you choose to build a life with, have children with, grow old with, etc.....

I don´t know. I only thought somehow every woman who´s a fan of Elvis loves him. I wasn´t even thinking why men also become fans. I just find it weird that some girls are fans of him, but not more. I read this yesterday and have been thinking about what kind of answer I could give, but there is no answer.
I can't say that I have ever been in 'love' with Elvis....I had never met the man, nor did I have the opportunity to go to his concerts. It worries me though, that 'Nicole' says she is 'in love' with Elvis..because that seems to be the standard that she may have set for anyone to come into her life...and that IMO is a big mistake. Even Elvis said it's hard to live up to an image, and I really think that that is what you are 'in love' with. I am an older lady.....and I have literally seen marriages break down because of the feelings the ladies had for Elvis......their poor husbands didn't stand a chance. Elvis consumed these ladies whole lives......and to me that's dangerous. Take it easy Nicole, give others a chance to come into your life.

It's what you get with generalization. It's just not that simple and I suppose there are plenty of straight women and gay guys who like Elvis for his voice and emotion, not just for his looks. Even if you're attracted to men Elvis may simply not be your type. :)
