Does anyone know if Elvis has performed this song live on stage? And if he did when? :help:

Don't think so. That would have been something though!

No, I guess he never did...

There are some great 1970 rehearsal available though, but maybe you already knew that.

Sorry,
I can't help you there unless you can find it on somewhere like e-bay

Its not the easiest cd to track down...but worth it.

It is different - yes...its the un-cut version and its fabulous (y)

Elvis performs a bit of the song during the "lost" TTWII rehearsals section of the "Lost Performances" video that MGM released in the early 90's!

The audio for this can be found on the "Platinum" box set that RCA released in 1997!

TCB!

Maybe you already know PS Annie ;) but the version on Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On is the longer studio version, undubbed in fact.

A nice rehearsal version can be found on The Brightest Star On Sunset Blvd cd, it's recorded in the RCA studios in Hollywood, July 24, 1970.

The rehearsal version from The Lost Performances (the film) was released on a cd by the same name.

By the way, the Whole Lotta Shakin' cd is very similar to A Hundred Years From Now. The BMG/RCA release sounds much smoother, due too mixing and stuff.

Whole Lotta Shakin' sounds much rougher (but it's great!) and has some dialogue and instruments mixed out on the BMG/RCA release A Hundred Years From Now.
