I just got the latest FTD release and in contrast to a lot of other fans I like it. Many stated that the sound was bad and the mixing even worse, but I liked what I heared.

What is your oppinion on this release?

The word I've see used quite often on other websites to describe the sound is "muffled." Those folks must be listening to a different cd. It. doesn't sound muffled to me. I've got no problem with the overall sound. I think it's a great release. I'm enjoying it a lot.

I compared the sound of the new FTD to the old BURNING LOVE release and the live masters sound fresher on the old disc indeed.

But to me the sound is far better than some people might want to make you believe. I have written a review, which can be found here:

To me the term "fresher" in the CD era almost always translates to louder. I don't like louder. If I want louder I'll turn the volume up. I hate when the engineer or whoever "freshens" it. Therefore, I prefer SRO. It has a more nutural ambience to my ears. I'm donating "Burning Love" to my local library. I have no further need of it.

I think this release is Burning Love nº 2, cause the songs are the same, only the sound its better
