i was thinking of Elvis best memoriable moments and roles he played in his movies that he did.
and even thou some scripts was written poorly . you can still find something to enjoy from it in one way or another.
for me Jail House Rock is my number # 1
then loving you comes in second ,king creole 3rd.
but truthfully i dig them all ! lol

If I had to play a film to a friend I would probably play Jailhouse Rock. I think my favourite though is..........wait for it..................Stay Away Joe.

Why, I hear you ask. I think Elvis it at his loosest (is that even a word) in this film and I get the feeling that his character is pretty close to Elvis just goofing around himself and it's alot of fun.

Agree with you on this one. Jailhouse Rock is at the top of my list for movies...watch it every chance I get. He looked stunningly gorgeous in Stay Away Joe and Change of Habit.

My favorite elvis movies are:
1- fun in accapulce
I like the latin songs he performs in this movie and one of my favorites scenes of this movie is when the mexican lady wanted to kiss him in her car but she couldn't and elvis began to sing " you can't dance rumba in a sport car"
2- change of habit
the whole story is interesting enough . when doctor Carpenter tries to cure the little girl. The girl cries and shouts and Dr. keeps on telling her "I love you"
3- live a little love a little
when he sings ' almost in love' and ' a little less conversation' of course ' the edge of reality is great too.
4- Viva las vegas

I'm one of those dorky people. I love all his movies. It's hard to pick just a couple or one. To be honest when I first was starting to become a fan of Elvis I was going through a rough patch in life and found a great comfort in his music and movies. For me when I was having a bad day all I had to do was watch an Elvis movie or watch him goof around. And that's all it took my day was so much better.
