Elvis is mentioned a couple times in Robert Vaughns autobiography,
"A Fortunate Life"
He mentions he had been casually dating Natalie Wood when she was also seeing Elvis.
He says that he and Natalie went to see "Love Me Tender" together and that he told Natalie he was surprised how well Elvis had acted-that if Elvis was not made to sing in all his movies he would become a very fine actor.
He later mentioned how he would run into Elvis at the studio and that Elvis always called him Mr. Vaughn.
