Elvis performs two more shows at the Astrdome. Following the last performance, there was a banquet at the Astroworld Hotel honoring Elvis. Officials from RCA were on hand to present Elvis with several gold records for his recent hits.

Elvis arrives at the Charlotte, North Carliina Airport at 1:30 a.m. He was checked in at the Sheraton Motor Inn. At 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. he performed at the Charlotte Coliseum.

Elvis returnes to Memphis for four shows in two days at the Mid South Coliseum. On this date shows were at 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. This was Elvis' first appearence in Memphis his hometown since February 1961. Attendance was 12, 300 for each show. Linda, Vernon and other relatives and special guests were seated off stage-right for his opening show.

Elvis performs two shows in Cincinnati at the Riverfront Hotel. 17, 500 fans attended both the 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. shows. Elvis stayed at the Neitherland Hilton Hotel .
