Hi everyone, having seen some of the fantastic work submitted in the modified photo gallery it suddenly dawned on me that we have quite a few members who have a considerable gift. To that end I though I would submit a photo that we could all have a go at recolouring.

This isn't a competition although people can certainly give feedback and advice. This is purely for fun :)

So here is the first photo supplied by Big Boss Man in the HQ Gallery....

Closing date is 5th March 2009, good luck

Impressive work guys !

Not one of the easiest photos to have tackled either, with all the intricate detail of that particular jumpsuit. I suspect there was a fair deal of patience required (not to mention a fair bit of use of the zoom tool) ;)

Congratulations, all the examples in this thread so far seem to have been done to a very high standard.

It would be interesting to find out how long each of you spent on colourising your own version.

Hi Mark, I wanted to start off with something Easy!

As a side issue I digitally signed my colourised Image so if someone used it I would know (n)

Thank you for the compliment Mark :notworthy

It took me a good 3 hrs or so to finally get my version looking the way I wanted it too (and even then I still wasn't happy ).

The part that took me the longest and gave me fits was the guitar! Trying to get the 2 tone color scheme to look right was a bit tricky for me.

Although I don't really think this is a good picture of Elvis to color, Everyone did a great job and it comes down to a matter of taste I think. Anyway, I thought I'd throw mine in.
