I often wondered why the tour doesn't include Vernon's Office?30299

I've been going to Graceland since 1987, and it's always been part of the tour, last time i was there in 2005 it was part of the tour.

Well i went in 1988 and it didn't include his office, just the racketball court.:doh:

Alot has been added since 1988 David.....I liked seeing the Office....especially the sign on the door....and the memories of that great Press Conference held there in 1960.....must have stood there and watched that footage in the office about ten times through ...lol

On the Graceland Tour dvd you see another example of Vernon's humour with the sign on the toilet/bathroom door......lol

When I went both times it was part of the tour,.Like Jean I loved Vernons sharp sense of humor as well...It must of been a blast there,with Elvis being the pratical joker that he was..I wonder just how much luck Vernon had in keeping Elvis and his Crew in order?

I just contacted Graceland friends (out of curiousity) and they told me that vernon's office wasn't on the tour in 1988!:harhar::lmfao:

I'm thinking that it may not have been on the tour when you went in 1988 but was probably added after you visited.
