I found these pics on another forum of what it looked like inside of Elvis' tour bus. It was once on display at Graceland but for some reason has been removed.:'(

The bus that was on display at Graceland wasn't, in fact, Elvis'. Since it was discovered that the bus NEVER did belong to Elvis, it was promptly removed from display and returned to the original owner.
I "toured" the bus when I first visited Geraceland in 1988 and wasn't impressed with it at all. It was about as interesting as Elvis' small jet...the Hound Dog II.
Where's Elvis' REAL bus? That's a good question! With nothing to indicate that it was Elvis' (as it was just an ordinary, unmarked bus) it was probably sold, leased or eventually scrapped like all the rest.

Well Franny is right. It appears that it was fake and removed from display at Graceland in fear of a hefty lawsuit for fraud. I never knew this and wondered why it was removed. This explains it.

More importantly than whether Priscilla or anyone could see it was a fake (since buses can be painted, reconditioned, revamped into totally different looking auto) but the ownership title would have to have had Elvis's name somewhere on the list of owners and the serial number of the bus on the engine would have been the same-how could someone have bought it and not checked it all out?

There are some home videos displaying a tour bus... wasn't the one in Graceland display? :hmm:
