Elvis was so enormously popular in 1971 that when it was announced that he was coming to Dallas the newspaper did an article on the excitement of the upcoming show.(y)

I remember when I read that Elvis was coming to the Oakland Coliseum. I was so excited because I knew I would finally get to see him in person.
