I also have a thank you note(from E, NOT E and the Col.) that he sent after one of his "infamous" hospital stays.:D I was a teenager...I believed him when he said he was in the hospital because he was "tired.":lmfao::lmfao:(y):king::king:

I got the scarf and the kiss in Vegas on 08/06/1973, but not at the same time. I got a kiss, then later he gave me the scarf during CHFIL. I was so excited that I couldn't really speak...I felt like I was going to burst into tears!:lol:(y)(y)

I can't tell you how many times I have heard this over the years! Since we were probably some of the youngest "biggest" fans back then maybe we should give it some thought someday - so many fans from that time have already passed on. Know of a good ghost writer that's not very expensive???
