Free gifts from Elvis and the LVH!!

This is from Elvis' opening night show on 08/04/1972. One of these cards was at each seat in the showroom that night, so they gave away over 2000 gifts that evening. So, I managed to come home with 3 of them!(y) The gifts were nice...you got a tour photo book, a stuffed "Hound Dog" and a few other goodies!:D(y)

It's funny that you mention that ~ we were going through old pics at my mother's house and I found one of my "teenage" room and there were the stuffed hound dogs lined up on the floor!:lol::supriced::lol:

I mentioned in the other thread ELVIS COMING TO TOWN that although you have shared some of your pics that you took when you went to see Elvis before, perhaps you could post some in these threads for people that may not have seen them?? (I brought this up in regards to the show in '71 that you talked about going to see in the other thread...)

I think its a great thing.
My mom and first step dad would balk at the price of ticket to see his movies (unless they just wanted to get rid of me for a couple hours:))

I know that I had wonderful parents and the best childhood that any kid could ever ask for. My brothers were married with young kids of their own, so in alot of ways I was raised like an "only child." My brothers used to tease my parents and say things like "it seems you have become a family of 4 now instead of 3, it appears that you have adopted Elvis into the family.":lol::lol:
Going through Mother and Daddy's house these last few months has been such a journey back in time for me....an incredibly happy time in my life. We got out boxes and boxes of old family pics and my brother said this afternoon....There is as many pics of Elvis with the family pics as there are of us.":lmfao::lmfao:
