WE ONLY HEAR ELVIS SINGING IT OVER THE CREDITS. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF WE SAW HIM SING IT IN THE MOVIE. I LOVE THIS SONG IT IS ONE OF HIS BETTER MOVIE SONGS FROM THE LATE 60s. MAYBE THEY COULD HAVE TAKEN THE SONG "DOMINIC" OUT AND REPLACED IT WITH THIS SONG .

Does anybody know why the song "Goin' Home" was cut from the movie 'Stay Away Joe?" That's a fabulous song as well.

Kill the volume in the second video (no pun intended). Then start playing both clips. The Elvis song really fits. Very evocative.

That's no insult to Tarantino, though. His musical choices are ingenius. It's just something to try.

It says in the soundtrack notes that the song "Goin' Home" was dropped at the last minute. Maybe they thought the song would not suit any scenes in the movie. I like the song and the movie "Stay Away Joe".

I remember being really surprised for some reason on hearing "Stay Away" for the first time...at the tune being that of the old song "greensleeves"....seemed like an unusual choice to me.:hmm:
