Elvis Always Performed Amercian Trilogy With So Much Power And Energy. My Pick Is Aloha. Seeing Him Sing it on Tv Was Amazing. He Always Loved Singing That Song.
I Also Love The Version From Greensboro 1972 That Was Brilliant!!!

Aloha. I like the iconic shot of him during the instrumental break where the sweat bead drops off his face.

Of the 2 choices listed, I voted for the ALOHA version!!! (y)
HOWEVER...my all-time favorite version of the song is the one from Hampton Roads '72 which is seen at the end of THIS IS ELVIS. That is by far the most powerful version of that song that Elvis ever recorded hands down!!! ;)

Yes, that one is another wonderful version
:hmm:For me I chose the version from "An Afternoon In The Garden" only because if you close your eyes and listen to both, without seeing the Aloha version, but listening by ear only to both, :hmm:I think the Garden version was recorded much better because of the vast sound it has within it's recording.............but to watch Aloha you can't beat that one visually.:hmm:

All versions are great, though ALoha had a slight lead because it was a bit better rehearsed. I love the version on the "I FOund My THrill" FTD CD.
