Ok...Elvis' hit In The Ghetto. There are two songs I know that he did as a medley with it....Walk A Mile In MY Shoes during the February 1970 Vegas shows and also during TTWII with Don't Cry Daddy.Which one do you guys like?I'd rather hear it with Don't Cry Daddy.

I VOTED FOR DON'T CRY DADDY. THEY SOUND GOOD TOGETHER THEY ARE BOTH SLOW MALANCHONY SONGS WITH A MESSAGE. BUT WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES IS A GREAT SONG ALSO.

Though I LOVE Walk a Mile In My Shoes I think that Don't Cry Daddy fits with In The Ghetto better. In TTWII it merge almost seamlessly into In Then Ghetto. I think Walk a Mile In My Shoes stands on it's own.

I voted the second one (y)
I think those two songs are perfect and much more similar to sing in a medley ;)

Agreed 100%! Ending chord - wise, "Don't Cry Daddy" and "In The Ghetto" were a perfect pairing of songs - one could flow seamlessly (as you said) right into the other. I've never heard the "In the Ghetto"/"Walk A Mile In My Shoes" renditions so....I can't make a judgement on that - but seeing as both songs end on very different chords, I don't see how it would work. :hmm:
