I have to work.
But I have a CD player in my cab, so I will listen all day long to his music.

As it's my birthday too i always book the day off work, two days this year, will spend most of the day playing cds or watching dvd's, then will see my family and friends when they finish work.

Although I have to work that day, I'll most likely find some time to squeeze in some Elvis music and videos when I get home!!! ;)

I don't know if I'll get the chance to play much Elvis music but I always remember what day it is and wish he were still with us.

I usually sometime in the day listen to some of his music. But like Diane I never forget what day it is.
My wife use to make me an ice cream sundae locally known as a "Hound Dog" on his birthday.
Ice cream, chocolate syrup-and peanuts. Have to watch the weight a little closer now so don't get them any longer:blush:

Ken, now that's a good idea! I usually start craving hot fudge ice cream sundays when the weather starts to warm up...but I could change that:lol:

I am working on that day too. I will be thinking about him and maybe watch an Elvis movie. I remember it like yesterday when he turned 40! Now he would of been 74! Wow, where have the years gone!

Am seriously considering calling in sick! I don't know why I didn't schedule that day off! But I plan to watch his movies - Roustabout, Loving You and Charro, and I'll be recording some of the programs from TV to watch later. And as always, Cd player will be loaded with Elvis cd's. The Other Sides and All Shook Up, no doubt.
