I Love This Song. The Only Version I Have Is On The Promised Land Album. Is There A Cd Which Has An Alternate Take Of This Song. I Think It Is One Elvis' Best Ballads Of The Mid 70s.

Not that I know of.......it is a great song.Alot of times even though I don't play it alot....it is on my mind for some reason and I'll hum it to myself.But I don't know of any
Alternate Takes of the song on anything at this time.......sorry.

THANKS FROU YOUR HELP. I WISH THAT FTD WOULD RELEASE "PROMISED LAND" ALBUM IN THE CLASSIC ALBUM SERIES. ONE OF MY FAVOURITE 70S ALBUMS. I ALSO LIKE "THINKING ABOUT YOU" AND "GOOD TIME CHARLIES GOT THE BLUES" (I HAVE A LIVE VERSION OF THIS SONG FROM 1974) IT ALWAYS STAYS IN MY MIND WHEN I HEAR IT.

I know....there needs to be one on The Promised Land Album with the Alternate Takes.
The album was great in my opinion.
