My first song was "Return to Sender" but I was only a little girl, it was fun, going to the letter box and singing, thinking of Elvis, loving him. I also loved "Suspicious Minds" and so many others, so, so many. The little money I had, I bought Elvis' albums, he was the only artist of whom I had bought more than one album.

As a woman, the songs flow and blend, as I flowed into him nearly three years ago.

"Hound Dog" for me.

The first song that I heard that made me an Elvis fan was not an Elvis song. "Hound Dog" is more or less, the first Elvis song I've heard.

Yay! 100th post.

I'm DIE-HARD ELVIS TIL MY TIME ON EARTH IS THROUGH.

The first song sung by Elvis that I recall hearing was Suspicious Minds from his "Vegas to Memphis" LP, so its always been one of my favorite as would be "Do You Know Who I Am?"; however, the LP with "Burning Love" was my first LP of my OWN. I also remember hearing and loving "My Way".

The first song I heard Elvis sing was That's All Right Mama but it wasn't the song that caught my attention, it was his voice....and that was enough.:D

I listened to music at a very young age on my parent's stereo. I wasn't in school and I wasn't able to read yet, but I learned to identify what songs I wanted to play by recognizing the label and number of words. There were 3 songs that I played all day long..all the time. "Bossa Nova Baby"...."Good Luck Charm" and...."Tell Him" by The Exciters(how many remember them?)!(y)(y)(y)
I still love all 3 of those songs!:D

I really don't remember the first song from him what I heard, maybe it was "Love Me Tender" when I was a little girl. But I do remember that "The Wonder Of You" did it to me (made me fall in love with him) in the TTWII movie.

probably Return to Sender seeing it was the song i sang to my kindergarten class mates when i was asked what i wanted to be when i grew up. My teacher told me i had to do a song.

or it could have been One Night, i played it till the sound was gone from it. Guess i'm glad i chose return to sender to sing, i don;t think my teacher would have thought One Night was a good song for a 5 year old to know.

In 90s, I'd seen a tv advert on a Turkish tv channel, with It's Now or Never as the soundtrack of the commercial. I thought to myself 'whoever this singer is, he sounds so sensual' . But that was about it
Then, maybe months later, when I was in a music shop, I saw this picture of Elvis in a red top, with his shiny black hair.. I remember thinking that I've not seen this man before.. But I loved the way he looked so I bought the cassette.
When I played the cassette and came across that song I'd heard on tv commercial before, I was suprised of course, that I'd found who that singer was..
And then inevitable happened.. I became an Elvis fan:D

I was only 11, and I was at the theater watching "Speedway", so the song that stayed with me - and I can still sing all the words:D- is "You're Time Hasn't Come Yet". That scene of Elvis with the little girl probably cemented the deal for me. My other favorite song was Little Egypt.

Of course, now I have a better selection - Paralyzed and Just Pretend

'if i can dream'. I specifically remember when we went to Graceland and at the end when we were around the meditation garden, if i can dream was played, i tried to rewind it but i couldn't. I knew then, i would be a fan.

I actually caught Elvis's 'Love me tender' movie on TV when I was four
years old and I really liked it. My mom bought me a record and it was
puppet on a string 45rpm and it's the first song I loved of Elvis's

I don't know what the first song I heard of Elvis' was. Before I went to Graceland and before I became a fan, I had heard of him and knew of a couple songs. But after going to Graceland where they blast his music at you it was Can't Help Falling in Love that I couldn't get out of my head and that song lead me to buy a CD with it on it which lead to everything else that I have and became a fan.
