Good start! the front looks very nice...the insert....maybe the text could be in 1 line with 3 little pictures next to it. Instead of the text over the Elvis picture.
But a good start! love to see the finished product!

This photo is in Ger Rijff's Steamrolling Over Texas book (if I'm not misstaking) - it's only black and white in that particular book. Great choice of pic by the way - very cool shot from 1975.! And for a first design it is very good in my opinion.!!
