hey guys
just got back from a trip to Memphis. in one of the shops, there are jumpsuit replicas for sale and they look absolutely stunnung! they're always so cheap looking, but these are great. they range in price from $1800 to over $4000
they also had in another shop replicas of some of Elvis' casual wear like the blue and red belt Elvis wore rehearsing for Thats the way it is.....and also a couple of "cisco kid" vests. (about $400 each)
they're all made by the same designers and you can order custom designs as well(y)

And this is a good thing how, exactly?
Is there no level to which EPE won't stoop to make a buck?
Disgusting. (n):angry::mad:(n):mad:

I'm still trying to figure out why "Stutz" was surprised that they were selling jumpsuits? I'm still waiting for them to lower themselves one more level and find something to sell that's tackier than the Elvis sink & drain stopper.(n)

Suit looks pretty good. I wouldn't mind having one for a collecters item.
rocknroll

Elvis, and only Elvis, could pull off the jumpsuit look. Waste of money for anyone else to buy it unless your just going to hang it in the closet (come to think of it, still a waste of money).

What I would like to know is where in the heck would you wear an Elvis jumpsuit! I do not see the point in buying it for a collectors item......unless of course Elvis wore it at sometime.

You must have misread my post Jen - I didn't direct it to you - just posting for some helpful information for those that do go out and spend $2000 on a jumpsuit!! Lord knows, if you're gonna spend that kind of money on a jumpsuit you definitely need the jewelry and scarves to go with it!!! Without it - the show wouldn't be complete!!!

I agree with u totally I would buy a jumpsuit if I could afford one. Maybe I would hang it in the closet or maybe I would have my hubby wear it (like ur guy if he were a fan) but still I think it is awesome. I know my little girl would be so jazzed if we bought one!!!!
For me it would in a way be a connection....Not that E wore that particular suite but that I could imagine and picture him in it, on stage..
He was gone before my time:'( so videos are all I have...But if I could hold that material in my hands and feel it. It would be like being right there with E.
Obviously I am a dreamer but so was E. I know that sounds crazy (someone need to put a smiley on here w/ a straight jacket):lmfao:

uhhh, take it easy man.
i'm not defending how money-hungry EPE is. i just thought it was cool to see exact replicas of the suits. Elvis impersonators aren't going anywhere. I'd rather see them in these than what they're usually wearing!

Tim being an ETA is a very valid reason for spending that much for your jumpsuits and it's a credit to you that you expect the best.

I am not a rich girl,no way i could afford to buy them ..but I do agree those replica was cool (y)... maybe for some Elvis tribute artist getting one of this is a MUST... I heard that it was Bill Belew himself that gave his permission for B&K Enterprises to make this jumpsuits.
