I`m sorry...I tried to decide..but couldn`t!! The Rock`n`Roller in me wanted "Santa Claus is back in town"... The sentimental me wanted "I`ll be home for Christmas"...and the traditionalist side wanted "Silent Night".......between the three of us we nearly stared a hole in the monitor!!!:blush::blush::lol::lol:

I can remember hearing "Blue Christmas" as a very young child and each year after that. It just wouldn't be Christmas if I didn't have that in my Christmas list. However, as I grew a little older, I just can't resist "Santa Clause is Back in Town" -- I mean, what says Christmas better than a Christmas carol set to a strip-tease??????:blush:

Well put Elizabeth,"Blue Christmas" "White Christmas and as you so rightly put in your post "Santa Claus is Back in Town", was there ever a more raucus down and dirtier Christmas song than this one, a magical performance by the greatest of them all, I was 16 years old when the Christmas Album first came out, and I stood daily looking in the store window at it until Pay-Day came around and I was in like a flash, the picture on the cover was worth the price on its own,but the record inside was priceless I drove my parents crazy with it for weeks constantly playing "Santa Claus is Back in Town" thanks Elvis without you my teenage life would have been a bore..:king::king::king::notworthy

I always love and enjoyed listening to the emotional version of I'll be home for Christmas" by Elvis. You can really feel how Elvis projects the feeling of someone who has been away and eager to come home on Christmas day.

i voted for merry christmas baby. i have an alternate version where you can hear Elvis saying Yeah at the beginning of the song...it shows how into he was. I can listen to that song all year round. It is great. I love all Elvis music.
