It's hard to choose because I love his hair in the 50's and the 60's. ;) Some years were better than others...

If, I have to choose one I will say 60's, but the 50's are a close second :lol:

50's, '68 to '73. I liked the longer hair but not so much the thicker bushier sideburns he had in the mid to late 70's.

Betty, that picture you posted of Elvis in the yellow shirt says it all for me. I think that was his very best "hair days". I was never fond of the slick back style of his movie days...it seemed so unnatural to me.

As far as I know Elvis had different hairstyle's in the 50's 60' and 70's!
So what about this hairstyle poll??? Just take a look at Elvis hairstyle's in the 60's, and there are several hairstyle's in the 50's and 70's aswell!:king:

I like the 50's but there again I was part of the 50's, he also looked great in 68-69 but as was said earlier his sideburns were way out of proportion during the 70's.. lets face it most of us can tell what film title by his hair, or what location he was in....pretty amazing eh! how many other so called Superstars could boast that, one things for sure he was unique, over here in England after 1956 every guy's hair looked like Elvis's.What really mattered was what was under the hair....That was pure GENIUS!!!:king::king::notworthy

Yes, the first pic (where he wore yellow shirt) is from 1969, I think one of the best about his hair. :blush: :blush: I love his hair style in 1969, and in 1970. But I like his hair in the "68 Comeback" (especially at the sitdown shows) and at the "Aloha From Hawaii" rehearsal concert in 73 as well. So I can't choose only one year I think...

Reguardless which year..........he had a BEAUTIFUL head of hair. He was truely a BLESSED MAN. I can't really say which I like the best.......there are many where his style looked better than others. I can say that from 1968-1970 I really loved it.
Also his hair looked great for The Aloha Show as well.

His hair looked great, many times in the seventies. That being said, there were times where it looked not so good either.

I find his hair to be most appealing in the early 60's, from about 1960 to about 1962. It looked very natural and suited his amazing facial features. I found the lookthrough out the rest of the 60's appeared too structured. The look from his 1968 Special to about 1970 also looked brilliant. I think it became somewhat too long and messy after that period. Although I found his hairstyle in the Aloha Special to be grand! The long mutton type side burns never appealed to me even in the 70's. For me , the lenght and width of his sideburns in the 1968 TV Special would be the maximum size.
With Elvis' features though, he could have worn any look he wanted and still look more dashing than most people on the planet :)

Elvis hair varied so much in the 70s . He went from his best to his worst , 76 being his worst for me . i think the best it ever looked was during T.T.W.I.I and The Aloha Show not the rehersal as we know he changed it the day of the broadcast .
