I was reading that the man who bought most of EPE is going to be making it into like a theme park? Anyone know what is going on with that. I have googled it but really no info on what the projected plan is supposed to be.:doh:

Two words, 'Credit Crunch' it's unlikely there will be anything happening in the near future, it's been several years since Sillerman bought into EPE and NOTHING!

I seen some pictures from another forum they were tearing down some buildings or something close to Graceland so I think Sillerman has big plans it just takes a little time if you will...

We were just there 5 weeks ago and there had only been 2 buildings torn down, and they were way on down the road from Graceland.:blush::blink:

The 'amusement park' rumor is just that - a rumor. Sillerman has no intentions of turning Graceland (nor the area around it) into an amusement park - I think people are just totally mis-reading what his plans are for Graceland and the surrounding areas.

I was mistaken when I said I read it, I actually watched the E! THS Last days of Elvis and he did say he had planed to make it a theme park. I went and watched it again just to make sure I was correct.

There are slite variations between theme parks and amusement parks not much but some or at least thats is what I got from Wiki.

I was surprised when he said it on the show though. I was wondering why in the world would someone put rides in or around Graceland. It would be cool if they would like reconstruct his bedroom minus the bathroom of course.

I just mean like show where the bed was. How it looked when he died, the painting of Gladys, the curtain all that good stuff. I saw on a pic that they redid a section of Lisa's room. something of that nature would be nice

If they did the bathroom people would just come there to laugh and mock Elvis and everyone knows it is true. There would be mourners but my god he is still being made fun of for the way he died i.e. Jimmy Kimmel..just a week or so ago.

I'm confused what exactly are Sillmerman's plans for graceland then?

From what I heard Sillerman was planning Vegas themed Elvis hotels and virtual reality type things.
