Quote: No-one as good as Elvis'. Unquote
My son, who is 14, was listening to Australian father and son Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel) and David Campbell on television just now, who are collaborating on "You've Lost that Loving Feeling", for David's new album.
My son said: Quote: No-one can sing as well as Elvis. They shouldn't try. The only way anyone can sing as well as Elvis, is if he had a son." Unquote.
Go the kids (y)
What nice comments have the young teens, or young ones said, in your life, about Elvis? (Hehe, Elizabeth, we have your lovely one "I can't get enough of him" lol) :D Any more?

When my 27 year old daughter was home 2 weeks ago she was looking at some of my YT videos. Finally, she said "Good Lord he was gorgeous..it should be against the law for any man to be that pretty."(y)(y)

Kimmi dear, your son was absolutely right!! (y) (y) I love that song very much, it is so special to me!! Well, my younger sister is not a huge fan like me, but once she said that man was beautiful." ;) ;)

Finally, she said "Good Lord he was gorgeous..it should be against the law for any man to be that pretty."(y)(y)My own 24 year old daughter walked in one day when I was watching the box set 68 special, Elvis was on the little square stage for the standup show and my daughter looked at the screen and said-"I don't care what he sings, hes so hot looking in that leather suit!"
I just looked at her surprised and she sat down and watched about 15 minutes.:)

No one kill me. For the most part I agree. Elvis was a wondeful talent and I love his songs and voice very much. And he was very attractive. But in my book only one stands alone above Elvis and that is Josh Groban.

I read somewhere that when Lisa was small, she used to ask Elvis why the other guys weren't as pretty as he......that's so funny b/c even at a young age, its blantantly obvious. I truly believe that even had not been famous, he would still be drop-dead gorgeous!!!!!!!!:blush::blush:

I'm not kidding. Don't get me wrong. I love Elvis. In my book i=he's number two. Alot of people I know don't know who Josh is. I've been a fan of Josh for six years and only a fan of Elvis six months. But I do love Elvis and really enjoy his work.

This really makes me smile. Lisa was a loving little thing! :D
Elvis is always, will always be, gorgeous to me, just look at him inside, it's obvious. As Lisa says: "You're still lovely, You were lovely then".

Come on, Rick- this is your responsibility! Don't you know you're supposed to be indoctrinating 'em?
I've got my daughter breaking into Mystery Train the second she hears an 'E' chord and she only turned 2 in the summer!

How am I going?
I had my son, in line of sight of Ronnie Tutt at the "Elvis Lives" Concert a few years ago, chatting with another boy around his age, about music, Elvis, and how great Ronnie is as a drummer?
Did I do well? lol

My two boys age 7 and 13 have a great deal of respect for Elvis. They both love other music like Black Sabbath and ACDC but when it comes to Elvis they say "He is the King and everyone else is just his followers." My youngest calls him "the King of cool and bling!":)

Everyone has their own opinions on who they like as a singer.I haven't really sat down to listen to a Josh Groban cd,so I can't pass judgement of cbg84 for liking Josh's music.
