I know some may disagree with me but i strongly believe that one of the real reasons so many younger people are getting hooked on Elvis is his image. When you go to Graceland and you see all those stylish and fancy cars and the elaborate costumes and the themed rooms at Graceland i.e. the jungle room, the pool room, and tv room, you see a different side of him. He was truly a stylish human being and that's what a lot of people love about him.

You would be surprised at how many care more about his image than his music.

I think image was always a huge part of the Presley popularity right from the beginning.....and he definitely had a very unique and different style all through his career...I`d hate to think that the music would ever become just something in the background though...for me it has always been the music first and foremost....still..to each his own I guess!

To me the music came first as well and then the person became important. I was never overly concerned about the image because I knew it was just that..an image.
