Found this picture on the net some time back. Worn in Las Vegas March 1975. It appears white, 2 piece with black fringes. Any more pictures of this rarity?

I'm thinking maybe this photo is taken at an angle where it APPEARS to have fringes on the suit?? I don't personally recall him ever wearing fringes on a jumpsuit during the mid to late '70's...I am GUESSING that this is just the black and white suit (Penguin) suit??? :hmm:

It does look something like the Penguin suit and also the Aztec suit with the white sleeves.

Also I find info about the belt which maybe was wearing with this leather sleeveless coat.

And if Black & Red eagle on the back of coat had the same funny design, I understand why Elvis was wearing this coat only one time. :)

The above belt s the orignal belt of the 'Eskimo Totem@ (a.k.a. Aztec). As ar as I know this belt was used once in August and once in December 1975 both in Vegas (see pictures)

yep Rare Stagewear for 75.......not only rare outfits but in 75 i would say it was the year of the 2 most ugliest outifts elvis ever used on stage...the white v-neck with puffy sleeves would of been more apropriate to be used as a pyjama to sleep in..used in vegas in dec 75 and also sadly used at pontiac at elvis biggest crowd of his career..u figure he would of had a special outfit made for that pontiac concert but no........ he had to use that laugher of an outfit v-neck..granted only reason he used the v neck at pontiac was because he came onstage with a white outfit split his pants had to change and went and put on that horrible v neck thingy to finish the concert....and the penguin outfit used in vegas in august of 75 this outfit is worse than the v-neck..these outfits made elvis look worse at that time 2 piece outfits were the way to go as by august 75 elvis has lost the good form he had in june of 75......both outfits get a huge(n)from me:king:http://www.freewebs.com/elvisnowyoulightupthesky/PICS1/victory.gif

No it's not the penquin it's a suit in it's own right, worn once i think. I think i've seen it on sylvester site when it was running. By the looks of it it's vest style top not a jacket.

As far as I know, this is the correct belt and buckle for what I have always called the "Black Fringe" suit.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the above belt is of a completely different suit - the 1971 Snowflake (a.k.a. Spectrum) see pictures below:

This belt is indeed from the Snowflake aka Spectrum suit (y)

The rare suit above has never thrown up other photographs to my knowledge, so my best guess is that this suit was worn in Vegas where camera's were not supposed to be used!

My mistake. I enjoy looking at the suits but I'm no expert.
